As a co-creative catalyst, I design and facilitate conversations and experiences to ignite people and to catalyze social innovation. In my facilitations I work with “collective creativity,” a relational approach to creativity in which people can exercise their creative thinking together generative innovative ideas on a topic/projects. In the face of wicked social problems, creativity and innovation are required to change perspective and shift culture.
Implication for organizations and communities: If we look at organizations/communities not as entities (i.e., as physical places with facilities, filled with people and their roles and tasks) but rather as networks of people in conversation (that is, a place in which the way they perceive themselves and their roles and teams will directly affect and create the reality of the place), then change and transformation is intertwined with coordinated conversations. As a co-creative catalyst, I facilitate such conversations for change.
